Professional photographer Crystal Toreson of CToreson Photography wanted to print some of her photographs on black diamond plate metal. The result was a cool industrial look and a way to display her photos without sacrificing the quality of her prints.
Almost all businesses use site signs to generate awareness and attract customers. A welcoming, updated sign is especially important in real estate. When prospective tenants are looking for a rental, on-site signs are their first impression to the care and management of the facility. Site signs also provide much-needed contact information during off-hours.
As a high volume sign shop in Eastern Washington, we have to make sure that color translates correctly from a customer’s vision to design, all the way to print. Because color varies from device to device throughout the production process, there are several basic color rules that need to be respected in order to get the end result just right. I sat down with Signs for Success Designer Will Oakley and Production Manager Denise Gillit to get their take on the importance of color in print.
With more and more businesses realizing the value of vehicle graphics, it’s important to stand out from the crowd and attract the right kind of attention. This may go without saying, but a full color, full vehicle wrap attracts more attention and looks more professional than, say, block lettering. Sustainable Works in Spokane recently upgraded from a partial wrap to a full van wrap to increase the effectiveness of their marketing campaign.
When you’re representing your company on the go, you don’t want to worry about details, especially when traveling to an out-of-state event. Here are some easily transportable—yet still custom—tradeshow display options:
The month of May always seems to bring boat wraps. After all, who can stay away from the many beautiful lakes of Eastern Washington when warm May weather comes around? And with fishing season recently kicked off, it’s no wonder we’re seeing boats on the road and in the shop.
We are pleased to announce the completion of the Signs for Success expansion project! Groundbreaking and construction began at the end of December 2012, but plans for the new production facility design began much earlier than that. Signs for Success has seen rapid growth over the last 12 months, and the new addition was created to match the increased demand for signs, wraps, and other advertising mediums in the Eastern Washington and North Idaho area.
Real estate signs come in several shapes and sizes. We print many types of realtor signs each year, from yard signs and sign riders to large post and panel site signs. These digitally printed “For Sale” signs advertise a commercial real estate property in Spokane for Windermere. “We used a simple red, white and blue design to have nice effect and great visibility. The customer provided a rough sketch of content and we gave him a couple of options for design,” Signs for Success designer Vanessa Bogensberger said. Sign content includes type of building and building stats, contact information, and of course, a large and bold “For Sale.”
We printed the chosen sign graphics onto two sheets of 4’x8’ Aluwell Aluminum Composite Material (ACM). Aluwell panels are made of two pre-painted sheets of .008 aluminum with a solid polyethylene core. Aluwell is a durable and weather-resistant sign substrate that is great for large outdoor signs. The signs were then installed on site by the customer’s installer onto posts in a “V” shape.
Many boat owners choose to add boat decals to customize their vessel and add personal flair. Since these owners often also need the required boat license numbers, Signs for Success is a one-stop shop for both boat letters and custom boat graphics. At Signs for Success, we design, print and install custom boat wraps, boat lettering, or boat decals. For this project, we designed and printed one large frog decal for the back of a boat.
As a major sponsor of 2nd Harvest, Signs for Success printed several signs for the most recent Take a Bite out of Hunger event for the Spokane-based non-profit organization. Logo banners, dining tables topped with custom table numbers and large corrugated plastic standees filled the Spokane Arena on May 15.
