FB500 | The ultimate in large-format digital printing

Now that we've produced hundreds of projects with our newest machine, the HP Scitex FB500, there are a few things we're excited to share about this great printer.
The FB500 is a large-format, flatbed printer, which allows us to print on material that's up to 64 inches wide, and as long as needed. We can also print on virtually any material, rigid or pliable, with a thickness of up to 2.5 inches. We've successfully printed on glass, tile, mirror, wood, metal, diamond plate, and acoustic ceiling tiles. It's difficult to list all the possibilities of what we can print on. If you have an unconventional surface you would like to print on, we'd love to try it out!
With the white ink option on the HP FB500, we are no longer limited to white substrates. We have the ability to digitally print a white under-flood, over-flood or spot layer. This allows us to print on virtually any surface, colored or clear. The opacity on the white ink channel is also controllable allowing for limitless possibilities.
From a designer's standpoint, the FB makes things simple. It prints color exactly as the file appears and does not require time-consuming color matching and test printing. It makes 
production quick and easy because we can run multiple pieces at a time, and the UV curing enhances our quick turnaround by drying ink almost instantly, whereas traditionally, we would have to wait overnight to let ink fully dry.
