How to Make Money from a Wall - Dimensional Letter Donor Wall

Well if you're in a retail environment all your walls will have product on them, but what if you're a non-profit without a store? The answer may be a donor wall. Many non-profit companies rely heavily on support from generous sponsors and individuals to make their organizations a success and what better way to acknowledge the magnanimous donor than a position on a donor wall.
We recently had the opportunity to work with Heidi Moll from Quinn Group Advertising & Marketing to produce their design for two donor walls at 2nd Harvest in their new Volunteer lounge. For us here at Signs for Success this was one of the fun projects that incorporates many mediums to accomplish the desired effect.
The backgrounds were printed on on Type II commercial wall paper. There are many textures available, and on this project Nassau Dunes, a light pebble texture, was selected. The white dimensional lettering are 1/4" cut acrylic letters. The gold dimensional letters and wheat stalks are 1/2" black PVC plastic with a gold metal laminate face. This is the first time we have had the opportunity to use this laminate from Chemetal. Usually, the metal laminate used is polished or brushed gold or silver. The Chemetal line offers a huge variety of metal finishes allowing for a truly unique look. Plume Goldenrod was the finish chosen to enhance the wheat stock effect. We finished off the mural with oak trim stained a deep mahogany brown that really finished off the whole project. In time the open areas will be filled with brass plaques with capital budget sponsors who help this worthwhile non-profit complete it's mission.
We look forward to working with Quinn Group and 2nd Harvest on future projects. Here's a video of the installation process
