We have several different materials for digitally printed banners including Vinyl, Mesh Banner Material, Canvas, and Trisolv Paper.
Vinyl is the standard banner material, and it makes up about 95% of the banners we produce. We carry different weight vinyl materials, all of which are outdoor durable. We print directly to the banner material with photo quality results.
10oz Lightest weight vinyl is used for indoor banners or temporary outdoor use.
13oz Standard weight vinyl is used for indoor and outdoor situations.
16oz Super Smooth is used in Retractable Banner Stands. It has a finished edge that does not need to be sewn or welded. The strong finished edge never curls when the banner is displayed.
18oz Heavy Duty vinyl is great for pole banners that take a lot of beating.

Mesh Banner Material (above) is intended for use in high-wind situations. The mesh material allows wind to pass through without blowing your banner out or making it unreadable. Tiny holes throughout means the banner is really only half there, but your image still appears bright and crisp. Here, we used the mesh material for roll-up window shades. The mesh gives a little transparency, but the colors are still bright.
Canvas Fabric makes great banners without the feel and look of plastic vinyl. These work great indoors. The standard finishing for canvas banners is sewn hems. We can also make Trisolv Paper banners. This is a sturdy paper material that can be laminated for extra durability.
Finishing Banners
At Signs for Success, we finish banners to your specifications. The industry standard is a 1" hem with grommets every 2 feet (approximately). We can add a pole pocket, reinforcements, extra grommets, specifically placed grommets, etc. See more on the difference between welding & sewing
